How to Reset a Locked MIMS Account
The online request form is open from Monday to Friday. Requests submitted over the weekend or on public holidays will only be processed on the next school day. During the school holidays, requests will only be processed during the first and last week of the holiday period. Please note that account reset requests will take 1 to 2 working days to be processed.
For example, if my class index number is 7, my temporary password will be 2026Fpps202607.
Follow the steps below to reset a locked MIMS account:
- Report a locked MIMS account using this link: https://go.gov.sg/fppsmimsreset.
- The school ICT Team will review the account and perform a remote reset.
- Check on the account reset status using this link: https://go.gov.sg/fppsmimsstatus.
- Go to https://idp.mims.moe.gov.sg/nidp/app/login and log in using the temporary password, or access the login page via any platform that uses MIMS, for example, the Student Learning Space (SLS).

A pop-up will appear prompting the user to set a new password. Click on the “Reset Your Password” button and create a new password.
Please note: For the first password reset, you may be required to set up security questions. These will allow you to reset your own password in the future.
